OHC Construction Group Co., Ltd. was established in 1985 and is a comprehensive construction service provider integrating design, manufacturing, and construction management. Its main products include steel structures, space frames, metal curtain walls, and building envelope systems. Over several decades of dedicated effort, OHC has built three major manufacturing bases: Beijing OHC Panel Co., Ltd., Hebei OHC Licheng Steel Structure Technology Co., Ltd., and OHC (Tianjin) Metal Structure Co., Ltd.; as well as four operational service centers—Haidian Xueyuan Road Service Center, Shunyi Lisui Management Headquarters, and Tianjin Xiqing Service Center. The company holds Grade I general contracting qualifications for construction projects, Grade I qualifications for steel structure contracting, Class A qualifications for steel structure design, and independent import‑export rights. It also possesses Grade A qualifications for the design and construction of architectural metal roofs and walls, and Grade II professional contracting qualifications for architectural curtain wall engineering. The company has obtained ISO 9001:2015 quality management system certification, ISO 14001:2015 environmental management system certification, and ISO 45001:2018 occupational health and safety management system certification. In the fields of steel structure manufacturing and metal enclosure systems, it has secured 26 invention patents and 37 utility model patents, and has participated in more than ten national construction management standards.

In response to the company’s growth needs, Dongfangcheng Group has successively introduced internationally advanced automated production lines for steel‑structure box‑type systems. The group now boasts a production capacity of 100,000 tons per year for steel‑structure space frames and tubular trusses, over 500,000 square meters per year for roofing and wall‑cladding materials, 1 million square meters per year for architectural curtain‑wall composite panels, metal wall composite panels, and metal roof composite panels, as well as 1 million square meters per year for steel floor decking.

Group Story

In 1983, the production team’s building materials factory in Xiduo Village, Fucheng County, Hebei Province, faced dissolution. To ensure its survival and growth, Mr. Duo Yuegang resolutely decided to lead a group of enterprising young people in starting their own venture. They devoted themselves to producing corrugated iron and waterproofing powder, not only taking over the existing production and supply system but also bringing new hope for local poverty alleviation and prosperity. As their business continued to expand, they gradually evolved from sporadic steel trading into wholesale steel sheet distribution, eventually venturing into large-scale steel trading.

However, the severe market volatility in 1997 and the challenges facing international shipping posed significant delivery hurdles for the company, ultimately resulting in substantial financial losses. In this difficult situation, Mr. Duo Yuegang, inspired by and supported by China National Building Material Group and China Jingye, decided to adopt new technologies and equipment to produce innovative panel products, thereby achieving the company’s transformation, upgrading, and robust growth.

Since 2001, the company has officially entered the steel‑structure industry and pioneered the introduction of advanced H‑beam production lines, enabling large‑scale manufacturing of steel structures. At the same time, the company has actively recruited top talent in design, fabrication, and construction, leveraging its own manufactured steel columns, beams, purlins, metal roofing panels, and innovative wall panels to deliver cutting‑edge architectural solutions to clients. This distinctive operating model—using its in‑house‑produced primary building materials to construct the steel‑structure projects it undertakes—ensures high‑quality construction services and sets the company apart in the industry.

After years of hard work and sustained development, the company’s product range has expanded from corrugated iron and waterproofing powder to steel trading and color‑coated steel products, and now to steel‑structure building systems. The company has also grown from its origins as a village‑run factory to the Beitou Changcheng Corrugated Iron Factory, then further expanded into Beijing Jingfeng Profiled Sheet Company and Beijing Xinlida Color‑Coated Steel Products Company, ultimately forming today’s OHC Construction Group Co., Ltd. This journey not only marks the company’s transformation from a small family workshop to a partnership, then to a large‑scale manufacturing enterprise, and finally to a group‑based, internationally oriented corporation, but it also fully demonstrates the company’s leadership position in the industry and its capacity for technological innovation.

Today, OHC Construction Group Co., Ltd. has become an industry leader, providing customers with steel structures, space truss structures, and metal enclosure systems, while also undertaking general contracting and specialized contracting for steel structure construction projects. In addition, the company offers comprehensive lifecycle services for steel‑structure buildings, covering everything from design and R&D to manufacturing, construction management, and building maintenance and upgrades. Group Development History

Early stage of establishment

In 1985, OHC Construction Group Co., Ltd. was established.

Expansion Phase (2005)

In 2005, Beijing Dongfang Cheng Group’s Dongfang Fulin Large-Scale Floor Slab Co., Ltd. was established; Beijing Dongfang Aobo Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. was also founded.

Period of Innovative Development (2008–2009)

In 2008, Sichuan Dongfang Chengcai Steel Structure Co., Ltd. was established. In 2009, the Xi’an branch and Beijing Dongfang Chengding Panel Co., Ltd. were founded concurrently, marking the company’s entry into the research, development, production, and application of steel‑structure envelope systems.

Sustained Development Period (2010–2011)

In 2010, the First Branch Company, a construction and installation firm, was established, further expanding its business operations.

Harmonious Development Period (2018–2021)

From 2018 to 2021, the Lutai Economic Development Zone Branch was established. The Group relocated its core production operations to Tangshan, introducing fully intelligent robotic automated welding, automated intelligent material cutting, and a complete set of assembly equipment.

In 2019, Dongfang Cheng (Tianjin) Metal Structure Co., Ltd. was established, completing six major product systems and developing a comprehensive capability encompassing design, manufacturing, specialized contracting, and general contracting.

Period of Rapid Development (2023–2025)

Dongfang Cheng Intelligent Manufacturing Industrial Park (Hebei) Co., Ltd. has been established, with plans to build 16 steel‑structure intelligent manufacturing production lines, produce 200,000 tons of green‑building prefabricated steel components, and manufacture 3 million square meters of metal curtain‑wall panels.

Drawing on nearly 30 years of engineering experience, and backed by precise calculations and thousands of construction projects, the company has developed the industry‑leading “OHC Steel Structure Building Envelope System.” It holds 33 national patents for this system, which features a comprehensive design philosophy and proprietary intellectual property. The system enables a 360-degree vertical cable‑seam roof‑maintenance configuration, with a single continuous panel that requires no overlaps, while its integral side‑to‑side connections ensure rigid waterproofing, virtually eliminating the risk of roof leaks.

In 2009, Dongfangcheng Group invested heavily in introducing advanced European crawler‑type production lines to develop and manufacture the Kewo panel series, tailored to China’s construction needs. This includes architectural curtain wall composite panels, metal wall composite panels, and metal roof composite panels. The surface material of Kewo panels is made from imported color‑coated steel sheets, with finishes that can mimic stone textures or feature embossed patterns and other special effects. The core materials are specialized fire‑resistant rock wool and glass wool. With advantages such as fire resistance, thermal insulation, environmental friendliness, aesthetic appeal, and ease of installation, these products are widely used in industrial plants, public buildings, commercial structures, and residential constructions.

Steel structure system

Since its establishment in 1985, Dongfang Cheng Steel Structure has continuously introduced advanced production equipment from both domestic and international sources. In 2007, it achieved fully automated, CNC‑controlled production across its steel‑structure manufacturing operations. Through ongoing R&D and the acquisition of new technologies over recent years, the company now operates multiple processing lines for heavy‑duty steel structures, custom‑shaped steel structures, light‑gauge steel structures, space trusses, lattice structures, C/Z‑purlins, and other components, with an annual output of 120,000 tonnes of primary structural elements and 80,000 tonnes of complementary secondary components.

Space frame system

Steel space frame structures are three-dimensional systems composed of numerous truss members interconnected at spherical nodes according to a specific grid pattern. Dongfang Cheng Group operates 25,000 square meters of production facilities dedicated to space frames, tubular trusses, and hot- and cold-bending processes, with three production lines: two for intersecting‑line cutting of tubular trusses, and two for hot‑ and cold‑bending operations. The large‑scale space frame production line specializes in bolted‑ball trusses, welded‑ball trusses, tubular trusses, and related products, featuring a fully integrated automated workflow that encompasses plasma cutting, assembly, welding, shot blasting, automatic painting, natural drying, and packaging/loading. This enables the company to offer customers a one‑stop service. Steel space frame structures are widely employed in large‑span industrial plants, warehouses, massive coal sheds, station buildings, shopping malls, exhibition halls, gymnasiums, convention centers, high‑speed rail stations, and other large‑scale public and industrial facilities.
